A 42% increase in followers for Lister Shearing

A 42% increase in followers for Lister Shearing

When Lister Shearing wanted to promote their new range of shearing combs, they hadn’t considered how paid social may be able to help them spread the word to new customers. We created a bespoke, highly focused campaign to increase awareness and drive more people to their website.

First of all, we created a ‘like page’ campaign, targeted at shearers in farming hotspots throughout Australia and New Zealand, and increased Lister’s number of followers by 42%. We combined this with a campaign to spread the word about the new products, increasing traffic to the Lister website by 33%.

As a result, the company sold more shearing combs in six weeks than they had done in the past 12 months.

1.2 million people reached for Chateau Impney Hill Climb

1.2 million people reached for Chateau Impney Hill Climb

When Chateau Impney sought to bring back a classic motorsport event after 50 years, they enlisted us to drive ticket sales on social media.

After launching the inaugural event to great success and attracting 10,000 people, the pressure was on to make the second event bigger and better.

We came up with two main target audiences – motorsport fans attending similar events and local mums looking for family-friendly activities. Through our advertising, we increased footfall by 40%, and reached in excess of 1.2 million people following pre- and post-event coverage.

A 53% open rate on LinkedIn for Moog

A 53% open rate on LinkedIn for Moog

Engineering giant Moog are one of the country’s foremost repairers of power station actuators, but not many power stations realise they have Moog parts.

To drive awareness, we ran a LinkedIn campaign that went directly to the inboxes of typically hard-to-reach operations managers and technicians, leading to an open rate of 53% and driving new enquiries in a field that typically gets a minimal amount of attention.

A 34% conversion rate for Hoar Cross Hall

A 34% conversion rate for Hoar Cross Hall

Every year, Hoar Cross Hall – a luxury spa hotel – provided a gift card offer at Christmas, offering an added value top-up to encourage people to spend more. However, gift card sales had fallen in the previous year, and they were looking to boost online sales as much as possible.

The problem wasn’t getting people to look at the offer on the Hoar Cross Hall website, as they received a lot of traffic, but getting people to come back and buy was difficult. Therefore, we developed a retargeting campaign using Facebook to tempt people back in with an offer just for social media users. As a result, we generated an additional £20,000 in online sales and achieved a 34% conversion rate.

Driving clicks for GFirst LEP’s Skills Portal

Driving clicks for GFirst LEP’s Skills Portal

GFirst LEP recently launched the Gloucestershire Skills Portal, a site full of helpful careers advice and information. To get it in front of the Gloucestershire public, they asked us to develop a PPC strategy that would encourage people to start using the site.

We split the campaign into four key groups – jobseekers, people interested in developing their skills, those who had been furloughed and people who had been made redundant. Throughout the campaign, we achieved almost 100,000 impressions, and drove 35% of all website traffic to date through PPC.

Creating a new community for Green Man Gaming

Creating a new community for Green Man Gaming

When Green Man Gaming closed Playfire, the world’s largest social network for gamers, many users were left confused and frustrated. We stepped in to ease the transition and ensure a smooth launch for GMG’s new Community platform.

Working with moderators and community members, we developed a digital comms strategy to enable the building of the new Community site. We crafted key messages, developed a new code of conduct and created a content plan to answer any burning questions and get Playfire members excited about what was to come. The GMG Community launched without negative feedback from a typically vocal user group, and has continued to attract thousands of new users.

A new digital strategy for Gloucestershire College

A new digital strategy for Gloucestershire College

Gloucestershire College, one of the South West’s leading educational facilities, needed a new partner to help their digital campaigns gain greater traction throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

Through our strategy, copy and design, we have opened up Gloucestershire College to a variety of new audiences and platforms. By introducing Snapchat as a core advertising platform, we’ve driven engagement from their teenage audience up to an all-time high. With careful audience research, we’ve encouraged a record level of applications to their free adult courses, and helped increase awareness of apprenticeships among key target groups. And, through our Google Ads campaigns, we’ve achieved more than double the average conversion rate for a typical Google campaign.

26% increase in interaction for Shelsley Walsh

26% increase in interaction for Shelsley Walsh

Shelsley Walsh, the world’s oldest active motorsport venue, has been trying to engage a younger audience. When Roborace, the world’s first AI-driven race car, came to Shelsley Walsh for a test day, we helped introduce the venue to hundreds of new fans. The venue had already been advertising an event on Facebook to little success, so they asked us to use Roborace as a test case to see how we could attract more followers and increase awareness.

In just three days, we reached more people than the advert that had been running for 10 times as long utilising a lower budget and more detailed targeting that not only increased the number of followers on Shelsley Walsh’s Facebook page, but increased the number of interactions by 26%, bringing a younger audience to the page and providing an uplift in ticket sales for the venue’s next event.
