What is Linktree?
As you can’t link within an Instagram post caption (annoying, we know), the phrase you’ve probably seen people say instead is ‘link in bio!’. However, if you’re constantly sharing news posts or resources, or have a lot of links you want to be able to direct people to, it can be extremely frustrating to have to log into Instagram to change your bio link all the time.
That’s where Linktree comes in. It’s a simple one-page profile that just hosts links. You can have as many or as few as you want. One of our clients is a leisure centre, who wanted to share links to their app in their Instagram profile – so we put together a quick Linktree for them:
Can I customise how Linktree looks?
Linktree offers a certain level of customisation on its free version, but if you want to be able to completely change how it looks and remove any branding, you’ll need to fork out for the Pro version. The pro version also allows you to schedule links.
So why should I use it?
As well as being able to share more than one link on Linktree, you can use your Linktree as a catch-all for a variety of different links. Got a whole raft of information you want to share, or need a way to showcase your five top articles in a weekly roundup? Linktree can help you do that with ease. You can also stick all your social media icons on the bottom, so your followers can connect with you across a variety of different platforms.
